Future Fighter Capability Project
Canada continues its F-35 acquisition while reviewing the wider fighter purchase. Gripen proposals and Canadian industrial agreements remain conditional on a separate government decision.
River-class Destroyer
Irving is building the first of Canada’s planned 15 River-class destroyers. The first three ships form the initial construction batch, with combat-system production and integration work advancing.
Long-range and Deep Precision Strike
Canada has contracted for HIMARS rocket artillery and is developing a separate deep precision-strike capability. The two projects have different procurement routes, suppliers and delivery schedules.
Arctic Surveillance and Awareness
Arctic Over-the-Horizon Radar anchors a wider surveillance portfolio. NORTHWATCH, space surveillance and satellite communications address complementary needs through separate projects.
